New to the site. Been reading up heavily tho. Interesting stuff. Do most of you live in rural areas? Here in the suburbs of Cincinnati it seems impossible to hypermile effectively.

Urban hypermiling consists of coasting between stop lights.

Welcome. I find it easier to benefit from hypermiling techniques in the city or town than on the open road. There is far more to be gained from DWB and DFCO as well as coasting up to stop lights. On the highway I find my mileage is pretty much what it always was.
I do recommend instrumentation though. I find my ScanGauge E invaluable.
