That is very attractive.

Dad had me build the wooden fence in front of the chain-link fence on the property line. When I started, the neighbor on one side started weaving plastic to create a visual barrier.

The other neighbors have a nice view of the back of our fence.

I had always seen them alternate, but I do not have any idea how to do that from one side.

When I had mostly finished, I saw that Home Depot sold sections of fencing, but that would not save me much time, they used 2x3s, not 2x4s, and each was oriented vertically which took up less space, but seemed weaker.

People point out that your fence would need to be perfectly straight and level, with perfectly-spaced holes.
