I agree the rear of the car looks clean - looks like they went for clean flow separation with sharp-ish creases on the trailing edges.
Reminds me that the first production sedan I saw with a similar trailing edge treatment was also a Honda:

Yeh I noticed it on the accords too, they have a nice rear end, but i wonder how functional it is.
Yep we get it, It isn't very popular though. They seem to be a good buy here
