Not surprisingly, this air dam is a bit too low for the amount of snow we've had this winter:
The problem isn't the snow itself -- once the plow has gone by, it's fine. Even the loose snow around the edges is OK.
No, the problem is the frozen
snuds that fall off other people's cars and litter the roadways. They're often 5-6" high.
One impact popped a couple of screws and tore the fastening "tab" I made that wraps around to the inside of the wheel arch on the bumper cover (the tab with the 2 screws through it):
Nothing serious. Duct tape to the rescue.
But I'll have to be more careful about the snuds.
Also, I will have good practice/reflexes for driving a low-slung supercar. For when I buy a supercar!
