Problem solving by means of anarchy needs a new name. There is too much negative association with the term for people to be interested in hearing about efficient ways to solve problems.
Tonight I remembered a huge pothole and swerved just in time to avoid it, but that got me to thinking again that citizen effort should be leveraged by creating an app that allows any schmo to document and complain about deficiencies, and have the most severe issues get the attention of community funds. In fact, the taxation rate should be set by the community based on an app rating where 5 represents adequate maintenance funding, 1 extremely inadequate, and 10 extremely over funded. We don't need government directors telling us they want more funding.
