It eventually gets to the same point on the throttle that it always did, it just takes longer. The cable does not have as much lenth as the pedal, so it never gets to WOT anyway. So up a hill, I do lose more speed that I used to, but up shorter rolling hills it now does not get to it's max point....so I have to imagine it is making some difference. Good or bad, time will tell....
