It was not possible to separate out the 1.0 and 1.1 engines as they give the same power. However, looking at the raw data there does not appear to be much difference between them fuel economy wise.

The 1.2/1.25 engine has slightly better real world fuel economy compared to the 1.0/1.1.

Its 6.36 l/100km compared with 5.11 l/100km for the 1.2 Mitsubishi Mirage.

Some 24 % more thirsty!!

Yeah, I do like the 1.2 better. It sounds better, too.

Part of it may be down to the transmissions, but I once hypermiled the hell out of a manual 1.0 Picanto, only to get the same economy I get out of the Mirage driving normally.
