Let's ignore, for the moment, the shell of the trailer. This is the mechanism that will allow the trailer to move both up or down to follow grade changes, and left or right, for turns, and at the same time, without allowing the single wheel to fall on it's side. I was having trouble envisioning how to keep the movement centered on the same vertical line, but I think I have it now:
