Only 3 counties in Oregon require DEQ checks; mine are registered outside of those counties.

Maybe that is why DEQ is going to self service inspections. You plug the cord into the OBDII port and hit the start button. The computer does the rest and gives you a pass or fail. Hard to sweet talk or bribe a computer.
