The hugest registered to hit Earth was in late 19 century, and burnd some telegrapher lines, or something like that.
Indian, natives, would not feel, but a modern world as today, addicted to electricity, would be severelly damaged. Voltage transformator would burn in nearly a entire side of globe, and would take months to repalce all, or even year or more in poor countries.

There should be a master plan for this possible situation.
And the world keep going more and more dependent of electricity even for basic thins, as water and food, since agriculture without modern technology can't produce enough food for the world population.

But I believe many people would kill thenselves before food run out, since the lost of web connection would drive many people insane or suicider.
