Cooling fan on/off

I want to put the radiator fan on an override switch that will allow me to run it on cammand or leave it in stock configuration. It also needs to be stealthy enough and easily reversible for Cali smog inspections.

For power to run the fan, is there any risk to tapping the power supply line for a heated O2 sensor? The connector is really close to the radiator and whenever the car is on, the O2 gets power. It's not the signal line. Just the power line. But would it mess up the O2 functions?

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
