Update: cuts like a knife

I took the winter wheels/tires off this weekend.

Discovered some bad news:

Apparently frozen coroplast is extremely well-suited for cutting rubber. The tire in question is badly sliced & gouged underneath the rim of the, ahem, pizza-cutter, where it made contact with the barely noticeable flat-tire-bulge as it rotated & compressed over several hundred (?) km.

The cuts are deep enough that a normal person would probably throw this tire away. Me being me, I'll probably just demote it for use at the rear only.

Double-whammy! Not only did I waste fuel, my fuel-saving mod wasted the tire.
