I think I read the current Yaris is actually a rebadged Mazda? So, you're not getting Toyota reliability.

Considering there are cars on that list which start at $20,000, I expect that puts the Prius C in the running?

I like the Fit, but as others have said, the gearing is stupid in the manual. The auto's cruising RPM is considerably lower (nearly half?) then the manual's on the highway.
