This morning, there were 7 (seven!) mainstream news items from all over Canada about recent high gas prices, eg:

• Edmonton gas prices see biggest one-day increase in five years
• Hike at the gas pumps
• Get your wallets ready: Gas prices jump for Greater Victoria drivers
• $1.18 to $1.58 a litre: Are you paying the most for gas in B.C.?

Last week Cars.com posted a piece addressing rising gas prices and how much it costs to drive America's most efficient non-EV/non-hybrid car:

(Although why they focus on the top-spec GT is a mystery. If you're pinching pennies, that's definitely not the one to get.)
