This is what I see in my rearview mirror:
Subjectively, looking at the rearview mirror, it was worse than the 90's Civics I drove before I had my Insight, and worse than my partner's Fit. It's considerably better than either gen 2 or 3 Prius, which I feel have lousy visibility.
The side view mirrors have great visibility though, which I think is due to the significant rear taper of the car.
