Well, sometimes those sci-fi devices actually seem to be more intuitive to use than a touchscreen. Anyway, considering factors such as the recent reintroduction of a Nokia-branded regular phone and the "hipsters" who enjoy things that at least look old-school, even though I don't believe CRT screens to make a strong comeback, I believe some sort of physical buttons and other analog interfaces might retain their market share even as a niche-market feature catering to geeks, high-performance applications and accessibility for disabled users.
