This photo you posted it's from Star Trek The Next Generation, which takes in 24 century and not 23 like Captain Kirk's early voyages.
Do evything from a consule with few buttons and no screen, like in original series, it's quite ridiculous today.
Anyway, flat, glass like displays are dangerous, cause you can miss place your hand or finger, since there is no buttuns to feel, just glass. Yoy will never see a military vehicle like this for things like direction controller, fire control, cause it's a bit nonsense.
If humanity get warp speed, it will be like give wings to snakes. I don't want this evil species destroying the universe. It's bad enough they destroy their own planet.

Star Trek correctly predicted doors that open and close for you, mobile communication, spoken commands to a computer, AI, among other things. We'll probably have something resembling a replicator someday, as we now have the ability to grow flawless diamonds or 3D print certain objects.
I don't believe we will ever achieve faster than light travel or "beam me up" transportation. It's possible we will visit our nearest neighboring star systems, but probably more likely that humanity is annihilated before then.
