How many grid scale storage batteries can we really make if we can't even keep up with a few hundred thousand cars/year.
It seems the industry is underestimating the difficulty of manufacturing batteries in volume. If they adequately estimate the difficulty, then there should be no shortages.

Everything produced has a component / step that limits production, and it doesn't surprise me that the most costly component is the production bottleneck.
