Someone is still getting screwed on them. My hyper eco-conscious neighbor bought one about 6 months ago; yesterday she was here in her old ICE vehicle. Leaf has next to no range left in the battery and it is not economically feasible for her to replace it. As electric vehicles age and proliferate, and used car dealers continue to do used car dealer sorts of things, I expect this will become a recurring theme.
