I'm currently driving my parts car!

I plan to keep my '98 Firefly indefinitely, so I figure it was worth having a doppelganger around.

When my friend and I made the ForkenSwift, we also had a parts car for that. I think we got both cars for under $300 total (one with utterly ruined floor/control arm mounts, the other repairable). Selling off parts was one of the reasons the total project cost was so low (conversion EV on the road for under $1k).

Coincidentally, my friend called me this morning to ask what I wanted to do with the ForkenSwift's original 3-cyl engine that's been sitting in his junk pile all these years. I told him I want to keep it. I'm not sure why. But it was running when we pulled it, so... parts engine!

Fortunately I have room to keep this junk in my garage (which has more square footage than my house).
