Demarcated by making note of GPS coordinates at time of intervention and uploaded back to the manufacturer who runs the analytics to determine what is unsafe. The areas deemed unsafe to operate in AV mode are pushed back to the car during the next scheduled update, and the vehicle notifies the driver via very obvious icon that AV systems will not operate in those areas.
