This one's only 45 minutes from me. If I had slightly less than my already low level of self-discipline, I'd be all over it.

Selling our beloved 2004 Toyota Prius. $1000 As-is. This car has been a fantastic companion to us over the years but unfortunately it is time for us to move on. The hybrid battery has died in the car and needs replacing. The car runs great, AC and heat work well and it has been well maintained. Last summer we drove to the west coast and back with no issues. It comes with roof racks as well as a set of winter tires on rims. All tires are in great shape. Since this is our second car and isn't used often we can't justify the repair bill given how little we use it. Toyota quoted $3000 installed for a new battery or one can be found from a wrecker for $800. There are numerous videos on YouTube on how to replace the battery and even how to take the battery apart to recondition it. If you know your way around cars or electrical wiring you may be able to fix it yourself with minimal investment.
