The last time that I read about the poles, Arctica was melting, but Antarctica was growing, although not as fast as the north pole was shrinking. However, they expected the south pole to calve, although it was unrelated to global warming.

Now supposedly the ice in Antartica has been melting three times as fast since 2012 and 70% of that is in West Antarctica.

It changed six years ago and they just realized?

I need a neck brace. I am getting whiplash!
