I'm not saying you're wrong about sea rise causing a crisis, only stating that it isn't the only possible outcome, and it isn't clear to me to what extent the problem will be.

I agree that rates of growth are unsustainable, but I predict the slowing of population growth will accelerate due to many factors, mostly that women will continue to become educated and enter the workforce, and delaying children has the effect of reducing family size since there is a small fertile window. Then there is VR porn. Young men are becoming impotent due to overstimulation, and their motivation to pursue and maintain a relationship with a real women is reduced. Women will also be less interested in sedated and effeminate men.
