I run my tires at 45-50 psi and haven't noted any accelerated or aberrant tire wear. Road noise increases a little bit, and you feel the bumps more.
NOTE: I think it may also contribute to going through headlight bulbs faster than other cars, so if you're looking for an excuse to upgrade to LED headlight bulbs, now is the time.
