Cleaning went well, so far so good test drive results

Cleaning went well. Took it for a drive with my daughter to get some drinks and snacks five or eight mikes up the freeway. Hung out. Drove back. No codes (yet). Does that count as one drive cycle or two? I think two.

The Ultragauge is so slow in sampling that I cannot really tell if the downstream sensor is getting better data. It was generally reading at a higher voltage (less oxygen). At first it stayed pegged at max voltage, long after closed loop. Then after a few miles it started to move a little, generally staying at 0.8 volts or higher. The other sensor moved all over the place as expected.

I will edit with some more pictures in a moment... gotta switch devices.

The set up. Neighbor's candle making thermometer was perfect.

Oily surface and black globuals floating in water one it heated up to at least 130*F

picture of initial closed loop screen after three miles driving... engine off in pic.

I will rebuild Black and Green over decades as parts die, until it becomes a different car of roughly the same shape and color. My minimum fuel economy goal is 55 mpg while averaging posted speed limits. I generally top 60 mpg. See also my Honda manual transmission specs thread.
