The capstone 30kw lives inside a 30" wide cabinet with clearance. I've seen the business part (turbine, generator, heat exchanger less controls and cabinet ) its about the size of a modern V8 but cylindrical and lighter than the full dress engine . Ive been told the turbine/generator only (less heat exchanger) is about the size of 2 footballs end to end, the rest is heat exchanger. And still pushes 530°F exhaust (47kw waste heat) theas are proven in transportation their websites shows many case studies proving this. Granted 30 kw is probably a little overboard. Using a leaf pack as an example could run the Gen set for 1 hour and drive for 3 ( assuming they have cracked the code to allow charging discharge at the same time)
