Hah, and I'm intimidated to check the valve clearances on my motorcycle. When things inevitably don't come apart or go back together as easily as I expect them to, I completely lose it.
I spent 3 hours removing 2 bolts on the motorcycle last week, and 2 hours putting them back in. My CCT lifter better never rattle again, or I'll put the bike in a crusher.
