Local (salt flat) data is available every IIRC 15min from 2 weather stations1 at the start and 1 ~ 1/2 down the big track, so ambant air density is available.

MAD is one of my reasons why I am devloping a temperature controlled grill block referencing IC Nd engine coolent temperature. Cheep simple servo automated grill block active aero deployment. (Link). With additional blockages on other components that will open independently based on that components individual need. EG transmission cooler. this truck has a technical service bulletin advising not to drive the truck in overdrive below - 5F, this causes the viscosity to get to high in the air to liquid transmission cooler(aka it freezes) causing a restriction in the cooling circuit end result is' a burned-up overheated transmission, failure mode too cold. So I make shure that is blocked in winter( doesn't get hot enough to run without it covered in overdrive for two to three months where I live).
