I just picked up a second cam phaser for machining. I would like to be able to adjust up to 45° as apposed to the stock 25°
I should be able to pick up a decent amount of mid range torque and possibly better overall mpg as well. We will have to see.
Also, while browsing I came across some fuel efficiency testing performed by Super street online back in 2005.
Fuel Economy Tuning - Tech Review - Honda Tuning Magazine
All testing was done at a set speed and load 65mph (3000 rpm) on a dyno
Nothing here is super surprising, but is great to see the data regardless.
This was done on the smaller k20, but should be pretty comparable to the k24 that I am running .
Ofcourse I will perform independent tests, but it acts a great starting point.
