That's the thing about Tesla.
I'm happy they exist and that they are really throwing the bird to established car companies. Disruption is a great thing for an industry where the barriers to entrance are so high.
But they will implode unless they sort out their own house. The AutoPilot marketing needs to stop, because people won't educate themselves on what it actually can and can't do. Wiring is a problem. Overall quality is a problem, I have heard that most feel hastily put-together with below-price-appropriate materials and inconsistent panel gaps. Parts for repair are almost unobtanium because they can't spare much from actual production. Elon is a genius, but I don't think he counted on how hard it can be to build actual things in mass quantities.
Tesla fanboys are undermining themselves and an old, set-in-its-ways industry by glossing these things over, and that makes me kinda hate them.
