There is no Planet B.
There has got to be a Planet B. The problem is finding Planet B, and then figuring out how to get from point A to Planet B.

I think robotics (and certainly space travel) needs to get much better before we start getting serious about sending probes to other solar systems.

Would be neat to start putting robots on some interesting moons of Saturn or Jupiter.

I'm with you on solving the problems closest to us first (Earth). That's the problem with the premise of Interstellar (the movie). They made it seem easier to figure out how gravity works and colonizing planets light years away than fixing the issues on Earth.
