Ignorant people voting for free stuff.
The problem is renewable power gets so green washed that the people who don't deal with math and numbers on a critical basis are starting to believe renewable energy is free energy.
It's free aside from getting the land, right of ways, infrastructure building, installation of the equipment it's self, on going maintenance, transmission, storage, upgrades, expansion, unfortunate events.
They also dont bother to think where the state gains money for all this "free stuff".
I call them useful idiots.
