I have no clue about the voltage drop and max current of the LED's as they are cheap W5W (T10) ones from AliExpress. I have 3 of them installed in the interior light, when set to illuminate on 'door open', the central one always glows a bit because of residual current.
In case of flicker I can put in a second capacitator (I accidentally ordered 2). Unfortunately I'm still waiting for the LED-sockets to arive, so I can't start yet
