Duane Arnold Plant is licensed to 2034, Alliant Energy had a contract with them (Nextera - 70% owner) to buy 70% of their till then to 2025. But are buying out of it early (110 million) and Nextera is shutting the plant down in 2020. Alliant has a new deal with Nextera to buy wind power. Coal is Alliant main standby energy source in the 4 plants of theirs that I have been in.

Duane Arnold is like a hospital by comparison with a maximum security prison/military prison camp feel.
