Dark matter was named that precisely because nobody knows what it is. Nobody considered it, or currently considers it untouchable because nobody has the faintest idea what it is.

Human activity may not be even close to the main factors for climate, but we're influencers. Organisms have influenced climate since the beginning of life. We're not responsible for the warming, but are likely responsible for the accelerated rate of warming.
