I don’t have major issues with safety laws but I strongly disagree with platform laws
These laws in effect ban manual transmissions, multiple engine choices and even stopped Toyota from gluing on an 18lb solar panel to their sheet metal roof.
We need these eliminated
We need grey market laws dramatically changed
We need to have reciprocal laws in terms of crash and pollution standards with other first world nations like Japan and the Euro zone
Oh and all of the above could be stopped if we stop companies from writing their own regulations (like the guys below)
