WOT M8? That engine has screw type valve adjusters, which are really easy to work with and learn valve adjustments from. I made a thread on another forum instructing how to adjust the valves on a K24, you can check it out to see what you are getting yourself into. A valve adjustment would likely cost you around $300, so you could easily save that if you can do it yourself.
