A replacement Leaf battery is $6,000 and comes with a new warranty,
A replacement battery for my Prius (2nd gen) was $2200 from Toyota but few cars actually needed a replacement. That was the older NiMH battery, I don't know how the newer Li-ion batteries are holding up.
