We are stuck using all of the above. The fastest possible pace of solar and wind build out can't replace what we need to maintain the economy. And fossil fuel energy will eventually start to slip away. Leaving us short and broke. Anyone alive in 20 years needs to start getting ready now.

I should begin my solar install Wednesday, as long as the electrician doesn't cancel on me again.
Local coop requires that I have to have the sparky pull permits, install the co-gen meter base and sign off on the meter to panel portion of the install.
I'm already providing most of my own heat for winter from wood I have collected and harvested on my land, upgrade and expanded the electrical for EV charging to include 8kw DC rapid charging and I have only lived at my current place for about 13 months.
