The CO2 emissions in the US are probably in the rise because it's been so freaking cold.
The only effective technology humans have that can reduce CO2 and feed our energy hungry life is nuclear power.
Until governments start encouraging nuclear power to replace coal nothing is going to change.
Taxing carbon so people use less obviously isn't effective.
It doesn't work on paper and hasn't worked in real life.
