Thanks! I feel exactly the same way!
It never made sense to me to say that I drive a motorized vehicle, that I registered at the Department of Motor Vehicles, that may even be called a "motorcycle" or "motorhome" or "motorboat", and then say that it doesn't have a motor, it's an engine.
