I thought I'd never have use for wireless earbuds since a shorter wire didn't seem useful to me, but I find it extremely convenient to not have the wire snagging on tools while I work outside, for instance. When I need to hear my surroundings, I just put 1 bud in, and magnetically attach the extra one to the back of the one in my ear. Probably looks stupid, but it works very well. Anyhow, worth the $15 to me.
