I certainly have no control over the rabbit holes this thread (about the Tesla Model 3) goes down, but my point was about Minimum Viable Product as a design philosophy.
Anyways, Bluetooth is cheap and it's a standard, like the 1/8th inch audio jack. That your new phone doesn't have.
If my (and repoint5's (thanx)) dream comes true, before venturing onto I-5 I'd want to have a motorcycle helmet with Bluetooth, rear-view video and a dashcam built into it. So the built-in speakers don't mean much to me. Of course, the cars I do have don't have radios so I can hear the engine sing, or sounds of impending doom. I might miss that.
