I don't see where you lose much weight in a conversion. Motor & engine were within 50 lbs of each other, added a 40 lb controller, lost maybe 30 lbs in exhaust. Battery pack is 400lbs, add another 30lbs maintaining hardware.

$2500 for my FLA pack 10 trojan (SSC125?), 6 oddball marine, 980 lbs of lead plastic and acid. Probably cycled it 400 times in 3 years, wasn't a lot of fun when cold but then again neither is the volt pack.
