i'm looking for changing my car in next months.
Fuel price are a little bit high in France (Around 1.65 US $ a liter....), so, i have many ideas for the next car:
- Diesel with improvements.
- LPG
- Hybrid....
In Europe, Diesel cars are around 47 MPG in "standard" configuration (if you choose a dows-sized engine).
LPG: Exept Dacia Sandera / Opel Corsa there is not a lot of choice...
Hybrid: prius ...
In France, the governement is making all he can to kill thermic car, pollution, you see? (electric is better with palladium-ion etc... batteries, nuclear electricity....)
There is a common car called Ctroen C4 ("classic" or coupé)....
The cupé is this one:
Cd: 0.28
With the 1.6 hdi engine (Noisy Diesel), 50 mgp is possible.
An engine remaping should hit 60 mpg....
Wheels can be changed by lighter, front grill colsed, etc...
What do you think about that?
