It was a small subcommittee hearing on Climate Change Denial, one of several for the week, with only six Congressmen in attendance. Two Dems and four Republicans. The Republicans seized the opportunity to call for a vote before the hearing even started.
When, in all reality, they could have called a vote for a subcommittee resolution junking the whole idea of denial. Instead, they went for the easy win.
Oh well. Politics. Not like this does anything at all except give the GOP brownie points with its fanbase.
