HCH1 went from 2003 to 2005. The 2nd gen HCH (2006-2011, I think) was junk (FE was barely better than non-hybrid and batteries failed worse on them than any other hybrid). 3rd gen HCH (2012-2015, I think) had lithium hybrid batteries and is pretty solid.
