It was carefully restored from the best surviving film materials, since the camera negative perished in a 1970's fire. They used a fine grain master (a copy made in a film of high resolution using very fine silver grains and better than a conventional print) to restore the movie, and it looks very good.
In the movie his wife was the niece of John (USA president in the movie).
The scene I like the most it's the party scene, maybe because it's the scene I remamber most when watched it in early teens. Maybe it's a parallel to today's narcisism, since Kane payed a largew bunch of show man to praise hin with such eulogy and to tell hin he is great. Similar to people on Instagran and Facebook in seach of Likes an "friends".
And Orson Welles dancing was fun...
