All-electric is stupid for the expense. Public and private. Hybrid was and is the ONLY smart approach. Dollars and destruction and unreliability kill all-electric.
Single “fuel” makes no sense ( in a manner of speaking). Not when grid access or cold weather or WHATEVER makes charging a problem.
A big cruising sailboat without an auxiliary diesel? No thanks. Hire more crew is “the solution”. Life is such that small craft warning signs are also a caution in tight circumstances, not a prohibition.
A get it home, get it to the shop, fix it when I can afford it, little liquid fuel motor is what makes sense.
Those who believe or justify all-electric are Enemy to man, not friend. For that way is about control of others, not problem-solving.
